We are so excited for the 2025/2026 softball season as Lake Effect Athletics Softball enters its 7th year of competition. If you are looking for a new opportunity - look no further!! Lake Effect Athletics strives to be a positive force of team chemistry, family and fun! We believe we are truly part of something bigger than ourselves and our goal is to mold and train our young athletes to be strong young women who will be able to face all of lifes challenges!
Please see the tryout dates and age groups listed below for softball as well as the flyers below for additional opportunities within Lake Effect Athletics. For the 2025/2026 Softball Season, we will be shifting to the new age calculations for the various age groups (see chart below) with the September 1 cutoff.
Also - if you are a parent or non-parent that is interested in getting involved and assisting our teams, please email lakeeffectathletics@gmail.com to express your interest. With the new age calculations, we will have opportunities on several of our teams as well as possibly forming new teams to accommodate various current team splits due to this change.

- 11U - Wednesday, July 16th from 6:00pm-8:00pm
- 10U - Tuesday, July 22nd from 6:00-7:30pm
- 8U - Thursday, July 17th from 6:00pm-7:30pm

2025/2026 will be the in its third season of offering our Accelerated Softball program. This program is geared to meet families in the middle of our current little league programs and a full travel/club experience. It is geared to be approximately 1/4-1/2 of a normal travel/club experience but still be a year round program in order to allow athletes more practice availability, more game experience and overall more reps which is so needed in our younger programs.
