A huge shout out to both the Lake Effect Athletics 16U and 13U - Red teams for coming home Champions this past weekend!
The Lake Effect Athletics 16U team participated in the annual Blue Chip Summer Slam in Byron Center and came home the 16U Champions! They went undefeated with a 9-0 record as well as outscored their oppoenents 82-13 with 7 home runs, 5 doubles, 15 doubles to top off all of their hits! This team is on fire right now and so fun to watch!!! They truly love their teammates and play for each other every game. They will wrap up their season July 28-31 in the PGF Midwest Regional Championships in Peoria, IL.
The Lake Effect Athletics 13U - Red team participated in the 1st Annual National Baby Food Festival Softball Tournament in Fremont, MI and came home the 14U Champions! They went undefeated as well with a 5-0 record and outscored their opponents 52-9 including 2 home runs, 2 triples and 10 doubles. They wrap up their season July 30-31 in the S.M.A.R.T.S. Smashing Balls Tournament in Monroe, MI.
